What is XanthoMax?
XanthoMax is a supplement for people who want to boost their immune system and improve their overall health. It’s also favored by people who are trying to fight the aging process and/or trying to lose weight.
However, although there are arguments that can be made for the supplement’s ability to fight aging, it’s unlikely to offer much value to people who are primarily interested in losing weight.
Despite the fact that some people associate XanthoMax with fat-loss, the manufacturer does not make any claims about the product having any value in this area.

Who Makes XanthoMax?
XanthoMax is one of several health and beauty products distributed by Elevacity.
Elevacity is a multi-level marketing business (MLM) based in Plano, Texas. Companies that use this form of marketing generally sell their products via independent distributors who get a commission on all the sales they make.
MLM distributors also get commission payments based on the sales made by fellow distributors they have brought into the business. Further commissions are payable based on the sales made by people their “downline” distributors introduce to the business. These commission payments can go several levels deep. Hence the term “multi-level.”
MLM is an extremely controversial business model but a few distributors become very rich. Most do not.
Elevacity is a little different from most other MLM operations because it also allows customers to purchase directly from its website.
The Elevacity business opportunity is promoted via a separate site. Again, this is a break from the norm. Most MLMs are as keen to bring in new distributors as they are to make direct sales and try to sell the virtues of the business model alongside their products.
Elevate has been trading for a number of years. It’s an established company but is not Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited.
The Elevate profile page on the BBB website has a considerable number of customer complaints but the company tends to pacify disgruntled customers quite quickly. This may be why Elevacity continues to retain a B-rating.
A B-rating is not as desirable as an A+ rating but it’s good enough to support a certain amount of credibility and is considerably better than an F (the BBB’s lowest rating).
XanthoMax Benefits
Elevate does not make any direct claims about the benefits XanthoMax may provide. Instead, it points out the benefits that are associated with the key ingredient–Xanthohumol.
Xanthohumol [the ingredient]:
- Is one of the most powerful antioxidants ever studied
- Strengthens immune function by reducing oxidative damage to immune-performing cells
- Nutritionally supports healthy aging
- Reduces cell damage due to oxidative stress and improves overall health
- Helps your body release extra Oxytocin
- Referred to by scientists as the “Master Molecule”
How XanthoMax Works
There are few other beneficial ingredients as well, but the product’s main aim is to provide xanthohumol.
A supplement like this is best suited to people who believe in the therapeutic value of xanthohumol and want a product that provides it.
XanthoMax utilizes a special “liposome technology” that’s designed to prevent the key ingredients from being weakened or destroyed in the digestive organs so that they can be “delivered directly to your cells.” However, Elevate provides no proof that the special technology works. Without that proof, it’s just marketing spiel.
Correct Dosage and Other Usage Considerations
You take one capsule per day and wash it down with an 8 oz glass of water.
XanthoMax Ingredient Profile
Each (1-capsule) dose provides 480 mg of a proprietary blend.
The blend contains undisclosed quantities of:
- Xanthohumol extract
- Turmeric root extract (95% curcuminoids)
- Caffeine
- 3,3′ Diindolylmenthane
- Phosphatidyl choline (from sunflower lecithin)
Ingredient Potential
Xanthohumol Extract
Xanthohumol is a natural compound that’s present in hops. You can obtain it by drinking beer. It’s a flavonoid and antioxidant that appears to be beneficial for the heart.
Research also suggests Xanthohumol may be good for reducing inflammation. (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/B9780128130063000039)
Like other antioxidants, Xanthohumol fights free radical toxins and reduces oxidative stress. By doing these things it helps protect the body from disease and may also help slow the aging process. (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5927356/)
However, although xanthohumol is an interesting ingredient, it’s also one that requires further study. There’s still a lot the scientists do not know.
Xanthohumol may have the potential to cause sleepiness. It’s sometimes used in sleep-enhancing supplements for exactly that reason. With this in mind, it may be best to take XanthoMax at the end of the day. Especially if you need to keep your wits about you or operate machinery.
Turmeric Root Extract (95% curcuminoids)
Turmeric is a popular Indian cooking spice and medicinal herb. Most of its value is due to a compound it provides called curcumin.
Curcumin has value in many areas. One of the things it does is reduce inflammation. It’s can also provide pain relief but it requires a dose of 400-500 mg. It seems unlikely that XanthoMax will provide that much. Even if it does, there’s another problem here.
The body does not process curcumin well. Most of the curcumin you consume in food or get from supplements passes through the digestive organs untouched. In a situation such as this, curcumin offers almost no benefit at all.
Supplement manufacturers generally get around this problem by combining curcumin with black pepper.
Black pepper provides a compound called piperine that increases curcumin absorption by up to 2,000 percent. (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9619120/)
Unfortunately, XanthoMax does not provide a source of piperine, so nothing to get excited about here.
Caffeine
Caffeine is a stimulant that is good for boosting energy and improving mental focus. It’s also a proven fat burner. Research shows caffeine has appetite suppressing capabilities as well. (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27824614/)
A statement on the bottle says, each dose of XanthoMax only provides 30 mg of caffeine. That’s a negligible amount. To put things into perspective, a standard cup of coffee generally provides around three times that amount.
3,3′ Diindolylmenthane
3,3′ Diindolylmenthane (DIM) is a compound the body manufactures while it’s digesting kale, cabbage, broccoli, and other cruciferous vegetables.
Some people take DIM in supplement form because they believe doing so will provide certain health benefits. It’s not a popular ingredient but some diet pill manufacturers add DIM to their weight loss formulations. However, there is no scientific data to suggest any value in using the ingredient in this way.
Phosphatidyl Choline
Phosphatidylcholine is a phospholipid attached to a choline particle. It’s sometimes used in smart drugs and other supplements designed to improve brain function and health.
The compound also appears to be beneficial for the liver and may help control cholesterol as well.
Various other claims are made for its medicinal value but Elevacity is probably using phosphatidylcholine in XanthoMax because it appears to assist the breakdown of fat. (https://www.healthline.com/health/food-nutrition/phosphatidylcholine)
XanthoMax Customer Reviews
Customer reviews are predominantly good. A lot of people praise the product for its ability to give them extra energy and vigor and help them feel more vital and alive. Some customers also mention relief from inflammation and arthritic pain.
A few customers make weight-loss claims but the ones who do often used XanthoMax alongside low-calorie diets and/or other weight-management efforts. It seems likely that these were the real driving force behind their weight-loss success.
Customers who leave negative reviews generally just get straight to the point and say they did not notice any benefits at all, but there are reports of side effects as well.
A couple of positive reviews read:
And here are a couple of negative reviews:
Does it Cause Side Effects
Side effects don’t appear to be an issue for most people but some users report unpleasant reactions.
Reported side effects include:
- Drowsiness
- Headaches
- Upset stomach
- Rapid heartbeat
- Prolonged period (women)
- Diarrhea
Where to Buy XanthoMax
There are a few ways to buy this product. The most obvious one is to buy it from the Elevacity website. It’s also usually possible to buy XanthoMax via Amazon. Of course, if you have a local Elevacity distributor, you will be able to buy directly from them and have the pills hand-delivered to your home.
Each bottle of XanthoMax provides a 30-day supply of pills and costs around $55 (price correct at the time of this review).
As is often the case with products that have their roots in the world of MLM, customers are encouraged to use XanthoMax alongside another one of the company’s supplements–Elevate Smart Coffee.
Elevate refers to the combination as a “D.O.S.E Duo” and claims it will boost levels of all four hormones associated with happiness (Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, and Endorphins).
XanthoMax Review Conclusion
As mentioned at the beginning of this review, XanthoMax is primarily a supplement that aims to provide xanthohumol. Unfortunately, there is no way to be certain how much the proprietary blend provides.
The presence of caffeine is neither here nor there because the formulation does not provide enough to offer tangible benefits.
DIM is a somewhat pointless inclusion. The only thing it’s likely to do is to dilute the formulation and hamper the abilities of the better ingredients.
Phosphatidylcholine is better addition because it may help with fat burning but, again, the big question is does the formulation contain enough?
Turmeric is a very good ingredient that could allow XanthoMax to offer several health benefits. However, it seems highly likely that the dose is too low and, without any black pepper extract to increase its bioavailability, most of it will pass through the body untouched.
If you were considering using XanthoMax to support increases in weight loss, you may want to think again. There are alternative options that will do a lot more.
However, customer reviews show the supplement helps some people manage pain and inflammation. This could be where XanthoMax offers the most value. Just don’t expect to find your belly fat melting like hot butter. That’s not what this particular supplement is all about.
