Caffeine Anhydrous and Fat Burning

Caffeine anhydrous is a popular supplement ingredient that can accelerate fat burning.

It’s also good for providing energy and increasing mental focus and concentration.

These capabilities make caffeine anhydrous an ingredient that’s a valuable addition to supplements of all kinds. Swiss Labs Phen Gold for example has it as a main ingredient.

Never make the mistake of thinking it’s only an ingredient that helps you to lose weight.

What Is Caffeine Anhydrous?

Caffeine anhydrous is a white powder. More specifically, it’s a high-potency caffeine concentrate.

Caffeine is a natural substance that is present in around 60 different species of plant. The potency varies considerably from one plant to the next.

As you are probably aware, coffee beans are a good source of caffeine.

A few other sources include:

  • Guarana berries
  • Kola nuts
  • Tea leaves
  • Yerba mate
  • Cocoa beans
  • Yaupon holly

Many supplements contain extracts taken from guarana, kola, and yerba mate extracts, etc.

Others contain caffeine anhydrous instead and it’s not uncommon to see caffeine anhydrous paired with other caffeine-providing extracts.

Regular coffee beans

Although it comes from natural sources, caffeine anhydrous is manufactured in laboratories. Clever processing of coffee beans and similar raw ingredients removes all the other components along with any water they contain.

“Anhydrous”, is a scientific term that refers to compounds that have had all the water removed.

Caffeine Anhydrous V Other Caffeine Providers

Due to its highly-refined nature, caffeine anhydrous is an ingredient the body can process quickly and easily. This makes it faster-acting than other sources of caffeine are.

Its rapid absorption rate also means the benefits may not last as long. That’s why supplement manufacturers often combine caffeine anhydrous with guarana and/or similar ingredients.

It makes it possible to get the best of both worlds. Caffeine anhydrous gets to work fast and, by the time the benefits wear off, the other sources of caffeine will take over.

This type of caffeine combination makes it possible for diet supplement manufacturers to produce products that increase fat burning abilities for longer periods of time.

However, although caffeine anhydrous has value as a fat burning ingredient, it’s best to stay clear of buying the powder in bulk.

Supplement manufacturers have the technology necessary to weigh the ingredient very precisely. They also have expert knowledge. It is no surprise it is one of the main ingredients in best selling fat burner PhenQ.

According to the FDA, one teaspoon of caffeine anhydrous can provide the same amount of caffeine as 28 cups of coffee. That can be a lethal dose. So take the FDA’s advice and never be tempted to use pure caffeine anhydrous for fat burning or anything else.

Caffeine and Fat Burning

Caffeine is one of the most popular diet pill ingredients. Most diet pills contain one or more sources of caffeine and, more often than not, the anhydrous version will be present either as the main caffeine provider or as a kind of quick-fix to provide benefits until the other ingredients begin to work.

Caffeine enhances the fat burning process by increasing metabolism and thermogenesis.  By increasing metabolism, it makes your body burn extra calories regardless of whether you are physically active or at rest.

The ingredient’s ability to increase thermogenesis, causes your core temperature to increase slightly. This makes you lose extra energy into the atmosphere, in the form of heat.

Proof That Caffeine Works for Fat Burning

Some diet pill ingredients are not very well researched. This is not the case with caffeine. The ingredient’s fat burning abilities have been put to the test in numerous clinical trials. There is plenty of proof to show it’s a fat burner that works.

Researchers at the University of London set out to examine the way normal caffeine influences thermogenesis and energy expenditure. Their study group consisted of lean and postobese volunteers.

The researchers gave the volunteers 100 mg of caffeine and the data showed the supplement, which was taken orally, significantly increased the metabolic rate of the volunteers.

This led the researchers to conclude:

Caffeine at commonly consumed doses can have a significant influence on energy balance and may promote thermogenesis in the treatment of obesity.

Researchers at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University in Copenhagen, Denmark conducted a similar study.

However, in this case, the researchers were more interested in trying to ascertain the mechanisms that allow caffeine to stimulate thermogenesis.

The researchers gave some of the participants 100 mg of caffeine. Others got 200 mg, 400 mg, or a placebo.

Not surprisingly, all the individuals given caffeine showed an increase in metabolism and thermogenesis.

The researchers believe this may be due to caffeine’s ability to…

stimulate lactate and triglyceride production” and to “increase vascular smooth muscle tone.

Additional WeightLoss Benefits of Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine anhydrous doesn’t only offer fast fat burning benefits. It boosts energy levels and increases mental focus too. Both these virtues are helpful to anyone who is dieting and trying to lose weight.

Caffeine can do these things because it mimics the neurotransmitter adenosine.

When adenosine attaches itself to other brain receptors, it causes drowsiness and fatigue. Caffeine’s ability to mimic adenosine tricks the other receptors into accepting it instead of adenosine.

caffeine and the brain

This makes it harder for adenosine to find receptors to pair with, helping you feel more awake and alert.

These abilities make caffeine good for fighting diet-related fatigue. If you are also following an exercise or training regimen, caffeine also makes it easier to find the energy to give it your best shot.

Needless to say, if you are training harder you will burn more calories and lose extra weight. especially if you are eating low calories foods!

Caffeine Anhydrous and Fat Burning Summary

Research proves caffeine’s value as a fat burner. It enhances the body’s natural fat burning capabilities by increasing metabolism and thermogenesis.

Although there are several ingredients that supplement manufacturers can use to provide caffeine, the anhydrous form gets to work burning fat faster than other sources of caffeine do.

This is because the body absorbs the anhydrous version of caffeine faster than alternative options.

However, the benefits may wear off quite quickly too. That’s why supplement manufacturers often pair the anhydrous version with other caffeine-providers.

Caffeine offers additional value as an energy booster and it’s good for preventing fatigue. It’s a versatile ingredient that supports weight loss in several ways.
