There is no doubting the creators credentials but we cannot give this product our full backing and recommendation. There are just too many better alternative in our opinion.

It does appear to be out of stock at Amazon at the time of writing.

Recommended Alternative: Fit9 seems to be more attuned to the female fat loss market – We recommend PhenQ it sets the bar as far as weight loss/fat loss products are concerned for both men and women.

What is Fit 9 Fat Loss Support

Fit 9 is a uni-sex fat burner that allegedly offers a few extra whistles and bells. It’s produced by Sascha Fitness. The company takes its name from its founder, personal fitness trainer, Sascha Barboza.

You’ve only got to look at the Venezuelan beauty’s Instagram page to see she knows how to keep in shape. She also has a Masters in Nutrition fitness, but the company website could do with some work.

The Fit 9 sales page is particularly bad. The text is crushed together, with no spaces between the paragraphs. This makes it challenging to read.

Sascha Fitness also has a range of protein powders and amino acids. Fit 9 is the only product it has for people who want to lose weight. What I’m seeing is a company that appears to specialize in muscle building products and is trying to branch out into weight loss.

What are the Fit9 Benefits

  • Fat loss
  • Less fluid retention
  • Helps reduce cellulite
  • May lift the mood
  • Helps your body synthesize more collagen

How Does the Formulation Work?

According to the marketing material, Fit 9 provides nine “amazing” ingredients that speed up the metabolism and further encourage fat loss by manipulating your hormones.

The Fit9 label says the product contains 10 ingredients, not nine. A mistake like that annoys me. It’s sloppy and I have to ask myself what other mistakes the manufacturer may have made.

When products promise to reduce fluid retention it means they contain diuretics. That’s not confidence building either. Diuretics purge the body of water so you carry less around inside you. Less water in the body means less weight and that can be misleading.

Diuretics can rid the body of water quite fast. When they are in diet pills, this sudden loss of water can cause rapid weight loss that is easy to mistake for fat loss. This can make diet pills seem better than they are.

Diuretics can also make very low-standard products appear to work when, in actual fact, they do not.

Some diet pills manufacturers add diuretics to their products for precisely this reason.

I’m not saying that’s what’s happening here but the presence of diuretics may still make people think Fit 9 works better than it does.

The other thing to know about diuretics is the effects are only temporary. As soon as you stop taking the product that provides them your water retention levels go back to normal and the weight comes crashing back.

What’s the Best Way to Use Fit 9?

The dose is four Fit9 capsules per day. That’s two each morning and two more during the afternoon. Sascha Fitness says it’s best to take both doses with a meal.

The company also states the need for healthy eating and moderate exercise.

Ingredient Profile

The Fit 9 diet pill formulation contains 10 ingredients. Eight of them are included as a proprietary blend.

The full dose of four capsules per day provides:

  • Ascorbic acid   (300mg)
  • Potassium Citrate (100mg)

Fit 9 Powerful Fitness Blend (2,310 mg)

  • 7-Keto Dhea
  • Dandelion root extract
  • Gotu kola extract
  • Gingko bilboa extract
  • Diindolylmethane
  • Green Tea Extract
  • L-Theanine
  • Uva Ursi Extract

Fit9 Blend Viability

Ascorbic acid (300 mg)

Ascorbic acid provides Vitamin C. It’s a water-soluble vitamin the body can lose quite easily, so it’s always good to keep your Vitamin C levels topped up.

I haven’t been able to ascertain why it’s added here, but being deficient in Vitamin C can hinder your fat burning capabilities while exercising. Perhaps that’s the reason. (

Potassium Citrate (100 mg)

Potassium citrate is a salt that’s made by adding certain potassium compounds to citric acid. It’s used as a food additive and is often listed on labels by its e number (E332). Its probably in use here because the formulation contains diuretics.

Diuretics decrease potassium in the blood. You don’t want that because potassium is an important neurotransmitter. If you don’t have enough potassium you may feel lethargic and weak.

Fit 9 Powerful Fitness Blend (2,310 mg)

There’s no way to know how the Fit 9 Powerful Fitness Blend is likely to perform. All the ingredients have different abilities and no ratios are provided. A higher ratio of green tea would result in better fat burning.

If dandelion is a dominant ingredient it will dilute the other more useful ingredients. That would make you to pee more and cause the blend to have less power in other areas.

Inclusion rates are important. They make a big difference to the end result. Image trying to bake a cake if you only knew what to put in it, but not how much to use.

7-Keto Dhea

7-Keto DHEA is a non-hormonal byproduct of DHEA. It’s produced in a few areas of the body including the adrenal gland and brain. Sascha Fitness makes a lot of big claims for the ingredient’s potential in several areas.

The truth is, there is evidence that it may increase metabolism and weight loss. However, if you are a competing athlete, you need to know 7-Keto DHEA is banned by WADA (World Anti-Doping Association). (

Dandelion Root Extract

Dandelion is a very popular diuretic ingredient. Although this is often overlooked, dandelion is also very nutritious. It’s a good source of magnesium, potassium, and vitamins A, C, and K. Dandelion also provides inulin.

Inulin is a prebiotic fiber that nourishes the probiotic bacteria in the gut. Probiotic bacteria is desirable. It supports good health in many ways and consuming inulin helps its numbers to increase.

Gotu Kola Extract

Gotu kola is a herb. It belongs to the parsley family. It’s favored by herbalists all over the world and is credited with many abilities.

Sascha Fitness is using it in this formulation to increase collagen growth. It seems to have value in this regard and, as well as being good for the skin, it may also help reduce cellulite. (

Gingko Bilboa Extract

Gingko bilboa is an ingredient that comes from a tree. It provides antioxidants that fight free radicals and help prevent oxidative stress.

It’s also a vasodilator. That means it can relax the blood vessels and improve circulation. Poor circulation is one of several factors that may encourage cellulite. That makes gingko balboa a good match for the aims of the blend. But only if it contains enough.

Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a compound that’s naturally-occurring cruciferous vegetables. Sascha Fitness is using it as an estrogen modulator.

When estrogen levels are low, it can lead to weight gain. Especially around the hips and thighs. However, although some experts claim DIM blocks estrogen, others state it may mimic estrogen.

Green Tea Extract

Sascha Fitness states the extract its using is 50% caffeine. That seems a lot for green tea.  The problem is, although green tea is a respected fat burner, it will need a decent inclusion rate to provide results. In this case, a suitable dose of green tea could present problems for people who do not tolerate caffeine well.

L-theanine is an amino acid. You can get it by drinking tea. It calms the mind while also improving mental focus. Supplements that contain it can be good for reducing stress. It appears to work well alongside caffeine and make it easier to tolerate.

Uva Ursi Extract

Uva ursi is a herb. The extracts in supplements don’t come from the berries. They come from the leaves. Although it does other things too, uva ursi is a diuretic. That’s why Sascha Fitness include it in the formulation.

Are There Any Fit 9Customer Reviews?

Fit 9 has a lot of customer reviews and most of them are good. However, even some of the people who praise the product complain it gave them a headache.

I also found a lot of praising reviews left by people who hadn’t even used the full bottle. Many times they promised an update when they’d finished it, but the update never came.

I find it suspicious when people rush to leave reviews. I always think it may be because they have been incentivized for their feedback.

If a product is causing headaches, I would normally expect to see a pretty poor review. The fact that so many people say Fit 9 causes headaches and then award it four of five stars on a five-star rating is very odd.

It’s stranger still that the people awarding the stars never state the product delivered any weight loss at all. My instincts tell me there is something amiss somewhere. I think the star-rating may not reflects the user experience many Fit 9 users are likely to get.

Is There a Risk of Side Effects with Fit9?

Some customers say the formulation caused headaches, anxiety, and other unpleasant side effects. That may suggest the caffeine content is too high.

A few women claim using the product caused problems with their periods. One woman actually feared she may be pregnant.

Bearing in mind the potential problems, I suggest you have a chat with your doctor before using Fit 9.

Where to Buy Fit9

Customers who buy Fit 9 are looking at paying around $45 for a 30-day supply of pills. The first option is to buy the product directly from the manufacturer’s website. The other way to go is to shop at Amazon. In both cases, the price is the same.

However, at the time of this review, Fit 9 was marked sold out on the official site. Amazon still appeared to have plenty to sell.

Customers have 30 days to return unopened items and ask for a refund but Fit 9 does not have a money-back guarantee. So, if it fails to impress, your money is gone.

Hit or Miss? (Can You Lose Weight with Fit 9?)

Looking at the promises of cellulite reduction and improved collagen production, it seems pretty clear Sascha Fitness are targeting women with this product. It is a typical female fat burner.

The official sales pages states it’s for men and women but the average guy doesn’t lay awake at night worrying about cellulite.

Without any inclusion rates, there is no way to know what this formulation will do but it contains ingredients that are associated with the kind of benefits the product is meant to provide.

Several customers report experiencing an increased need to urinate, so it seems likely the product will reduce water retention.

Unfortunately, I don’t trust many of the reviews I’m seeing. One “honest review” gives it four out of five stars. Yet the reviewer states “I cannot say that I have lost weight since I honestly do not weigh myself.” The reviewer then states the product gave her headaches. So, why four stars? Because she’s a Sascha fan?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a product that has so many four and five star reviews where the rating clashes with what the customers are saying. If you buy this product you are going to have a gamble on your hands. It may work but, then again, it may not. If it doesn’t there is no money-back guarantee.
