SUMMARY
There is no doubt that ShapeLine is a great product. It has all the credentials and real clinical data on its side. If you are looking to take a probiotic supplement to improve your gut health and flora I would not hesitate to recommend Pro-Ven.
Sadly, if losing weight and shedding the belly fat is your main driver I would suggest an alternative (a dedicated weight loss supplement) product.
Recommendation Alternative: We have reviewed and rated many of the top diet pills available. Our recommendation is for PhenQ – a serious weight loss product that offers a multi faceted and natural approach.

What is ShapeLine
A probiotic supplement contains 50 billion strains of good bacteria per capsule.
It is said to help people lose weight and fight the flab by improving gut health by introducing billions of live bacteria.
The product is in capsule form – take one a day. The manufacturers also say there is no need to store it in the fridge.
The product material mentions Lab4P Probiotics – which admittedly we have never heard of before.
The Most Complete Combination of Friendly Bacteria
The official website suggest that Shape Line offers the best example of a capsule containing ‘friendly bacteria’.
After our research we have discovered that Lab4, Lab4b and Lab4P are specific strains of probiotics developed for Pro-Ven.
The whole process is legitimate and the is the company responsible is also BRC approved, has ISO9000 and MHRA accreditations. It is also audited to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Processes) by the FDA in the USA.
We have no doubts about the legitimacy of the company involved in producing ShapeLine and the quality of the ingredients in the capsule.
It can also aid digestion and improved the immune system.
It is available to buy in the UK from its own official website Pro-Ven Probiotics.

They are a UK based (Wales) company that specialize in producing high quality and research backed probiotic supplements.
Their target market appears to be the UK but they can ship all over the world to countries such as USA, Canada and Australia.
They have been in business since 1994 and do not appear to be subject to any negative press or wrong doing.
What are the Weight Loss Claims?
Nigel Plummer – the microbiologist largely responsible for the Pro-Ven probiotic says “Shapeline is the first of its kind to offer a real proven weight loss solution.”
He goes to say “A clinical study resulted in participants experiencing a weight reduction and waist size reduction. They also saw a significant decrease in BMI [body mass index] after taking just one capsule a day.”
The most successes were by people over 50. There were 440 participants and they were advised not to alter their diet or day to day routine.
How Does ShapeLine Work?
The ShapeLine formula consists of five strains of probiotics.
These five strains are the ‘good’ bacteria (or friendly bacteria) that have been shown to improve the health of the microbiome. The microbiome is the area of the gut where trillions of bacteria, fungi and viruses reside.
The good bacteria plays an important role in a healthy gut function, our immune system and our digestion.
The marketing people behind ShapeLine suggest that taking this pill can also help to fight the flab.
The Daily Mail article then went viral in January 2020 says that taking this one a day pill can have a remarkable effect on your waistline.
This was part of the headline – which in our view was at best hype and at worst bad advice.
The tablet that could help you lose the pounds without the need for calorie counting and without exercise.
Daily Mail 2020
Any kind of diet product that is used a weight management supplement is best used with a healthy diet and exercise regime of some sort.

ShapeLine Reviews – Customer Feedback in the Press
ShapeLine is a fairly new slimming supplement. It gained lots of exposure by appearing in UK online newspaper the Daily Mail
The article was very much a sales article and promotional – but you cannot blame ProVen for this as they believe in their product and they want you to as well.
The article centres around Miranda Levy – a 50 something woman that was desperate to lose weight.
She had tried most things and … as luck would have it discovered ShapeLine.
As for ShapeLine customer reviews – other than the promotional material in the UK press we have not yet found any testimonials or positive / negative feedback.
Where to Buy ShapeLine?
At present, buying ShapeLine is limited to the UK and from the official Pro-Ven website.
At the time of this review (Jan 2020 since updated for 2021) the official Pro-Ven was in a state of disrepair and very slow. This may have been due to the demand created in the UK press (online newspaper Daily Mail).
In future it is likely that Boots, Holland and Barrett and Superdrug may stock and sell ShapeLine. This is along with some other independent UK chemists and health stores.
How Much Does it Cost?
One packet of ShapeLine is priced at £29.95. Each packet consists of 30 capsules – enough to last for 1 month.
There are price breaks and discounts for larger online orders. There is a buy 4 and get 6 bundle which costs £119.80 – this equates to £19.96 each.
There do not appear to be any ShapeLine coupon codes or discount vouchers.
