What is Vintage Burn

Vintage Burn is a dietary supplement that’s marketed as a muscle-preserving thermogenic fat burner. It is sais to speed up the body’s metabolism and convert existing fat deposits into additional energy without expending muscle tissue.

It’s manufactured by Cosidla Inc and distributed under the Old School Labs brand name.

Cosidla is a Californian company based in Beverly Hills. It has an expanding range of products and continues to go from strength to strength. The company originally did all its marketing and distribution via Amazon, but now has quite an impressive website that doubles as an online store.

Although Vintage Burn continues to be its best-seller, Cosidla presently offers 20 other Old School supplements including a testosterone booster and a keto fat burner. It’s also moved into merchandising and sells a selection of branded T-Shirts and sweatshirts via its site.

The Old School Labs emblem includes a head and shoulders picture of a macho man with a mustache. The emblem is prominent on the packaging of most of the company’s supplements, including Vintage Burn.

Personally, I like the emblem. Not enough to wear it on a T-shirt, but I like it. The emblem gives the products a distinctive look. The problem is, apart from helping the product to stand out it causes questions about the type of person Vintage Burn is intended to help.

Many women believe Vintage Burn is only for men. Some men believe it’s only for bodybuilders. The truth of the matter is it’s a unisex product. Anyone can use Vintage Burn.

Benefits of Vintage Burn

Vintage Burn Benefits

  • Encourages weight loss
  • Preserves muscle mass
  • Improves mental focus and mood

How Does Vintage Burn Work?

Vintage Burn is a thermogenic fat burner that’s designed to prevent calorie-restricted bodies from breaking down muscle tissue as well as fat.

Before it begins burning fat, the body needs to experience an energy shortage. The correct combination of diet and exercise is the best way to cause the necessary energy shortage. Vintage burn provides ingredients that increase it. They do so by increasing the amount of energy the body loses as heat (thermogenic fat burning).

Unfortunately, although the energy stored in its fat cells is the body’s secondary source of fuel, when it needs more energy it often breaks down a small amount of muscle tissue as well.

This biological phenomenon can be especially frustrating for bodybuilders during their cutting cycles. After spending months bulking up and increasing their strength the last thing they want is to start losing muscle when they are trying to reduce body fat to improve definition.

Losing muscle tissue is not good for normal dieters either. Research suggests muscle tissue burns 10–15 calories per kilogram (kcal/kg) per day. So the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn.

Any serious attempt to burn fat and lose weight require drastic changes in diet. The resulting lack of energy and avoidance of favorite foods can make it hard to concentrate and have a detrimental effect on the mood. That’s why the Vintage Burn fat burning formulation is also designed to boost mental focus and mood.

Raspberry ketones is a popular diet pill ingredient that is sometimes considered powerful enough to go it alone. It’s valued for its ability to suppress appetite. Raspberry ketones also It appears to aid weight loss by causing the fat cells to be more vulnerable to fat-burning hormones.

Olive Leaf Extract (160 mg)

Olive leaf extract is a very healthy ingredient. It has a lot of virtues and is thought to be good for the heart. In a formulation like this, its value is unclear.

Caffeine (150 mg)

Caffeine clears the mind and provides extra energy. That’s why so many people make coffee their first drink of the day.

Forskohlii Extract (60 mg)

Forskohlii is a natural testosterone booster. It comes from the roots of a perennial plant. Ingredients that boost testosterone have value because it’s an important hormone that serves many roles. One of them is boosting protein synthesis. That’s why so many muscle-building supplements contain testosterone boosters like forskohlii.

How to Use Vintage Burn

The standard dose is two capsules, two times per day with a glass of water. It’s best to take them with meals.

In order to reduce the risk of tolerance issues, Cosidla advises new users to half the dose and begin with one capsule, two times per day. Then, if everything goes okay, start taking the standard dose from day three onward.

Customers who want to pull out all the stops and get the best results possible can then move on to the maximum dose and take two capsules, three times per day.

However, Cosidla warns against taking Vintage Burn within four hours of bedtime. The caffeine content may interfere with sleep.

Vintage Burn Customer Feedback

There’s a lot of customer feedback. Going through it all took quite some time.

Most of the reviews are positive, but, one of the first reviews seemed a little suspicious. The reviewer received her bottle of pills the day before she posted the review. She said the first pill made her jittery but she felt the extra energy and was excited to see how the pills could help with her results.

At this point, she had no real experience with the product and still gave it four out of five stars. She ended her review by saying Old School Labs were sending her a free bottle of Vintage Burn. But she never actually admitted she’d been incentivized to leave a review.

A little later on, I found a review posted a year earlier. It was from a customer claiming her bottle had a large sticker on it offering free product in exchange for positive reviews. The reviewer states she left an honest review because the pills made her ill. She claims the manufacturer reported her review and had it removed. I only got to read it because she posted it again.

Vintage Burn negative reviews

This leaves me with a dilemma. Although Vintage Burn has a lot of very good customer reviews, I’m not sure if I can believe them.

Does Vintage Burn Cause Side Effects

Most Vintage Burn users seem to tolerate the product quite well. Unfortunately, customer feedback shows side effects are an issue for some people.

I found several mentions of diarrhea and other stomach issues. Nausea seems to be one of the more common side effects too. Headaches are mentioned a lot as well. There appears to be a variety of other potential side effects too. Some of the reports are alarming. If you want to find a full list of reported side effects, I suggest you visit the sales page at Amazon and use the filter that allows you to see only 1-star reviews.

Things to Know Before You Buy

There are several things you need to know if you are considering buying and using Vintage Burn.  I’ll start with the standard stuff first.

Vintage burn is for adults who are in good health.  If you have existing health problems or would have to use Vintage Burn alongside medication, you will need to discuss the matter with a doctor before using the product. Cosidla offers the same advice to women who are pregnant or nursing a child.

If you have to avoid gluten, the good news is you don’t need to avoid Vintage Burn. It doesn’t contain any. Nor does it contain any animal extracts. The formulation is 100% vegetarian-friendly. Cosidla also assures customers the product does not contain any GMO ingredients.

Vintage Burn does contain caffeine though. That may be a problem for some people. However, two capsules only provide 130 mg. You’d get a similar amount form one-and-a-half cups of coffee. The average person is unlikely to have any problems with that.

Where to Buy Vintage Burn

Old School Lab supplements are only available to people living in the USA. The company tried to expand its activity into Europe by opening a store on Amazon UK, but the venture does not appear to have been a success.

While I was writing this review, I tried to visit the store to see if it was still there. It was gone, so the story remains the same. You won’t be able to use Vintage Burn unless you’re flying the stars and stripes.

At the time of this review, the main two options were to buy Vintage Burn directly from the Old School Labs website or to get it from Amazon.com. I was also surprised to discover Cosidla has struck up a distribution deal with Walmart as well.

Now for some price information. If you buy Vintage Burn from the Old School website, you’re looking at paying around $50 per bottle. If you buy from Amazon or Walmart, the price is more or less the same. That appears quite reasonable if a bottle lasts for a month but it may not. It all depends on how many pills you take a day.

If you take the standard dose of four capsules per day, using Vintage Burn will cost you $50 per month. If you use the maximum dose of six capsules per day, Vintage Burn will cost $50 every 20 days. Most people who take supplements want maximum results.

Vintage Burn Coupon Code

There doesn’t appear to be a Vintage Burn coupon code even though there is an option on the official website to input a coupon code. This is largely due to the special offer that is running.

Is There a Guarantee

At first glance, the Old School money-back guarantee doesn’t look too bad. If a customer is unhappy, Cosidla promises to give them a full refund. There isn’t even any need to pay postage costs to return the empty bottle,  Cosidla doesn’t want it back.

The refund process appears unusually easy too. It’s just a case of contacting customer services and asking for your money back.

Here’s the big problem: Cosidla doesn’t say how long the guarantee lasts. These days most guarantees last are good for 60 days. Some are even longer. However, there are also companies that only offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Believe it or not, there are companies that offer a couple of weeks. I’ve even seen products that have a guarantee that only lasts for a few days.

So, although it’s always nice to see a money-back guarantee, it means nothing unless you are sure how long it lasts.

Does Vintage Burn Work?

Vintage Burn contains some respected fat burning ingredients and the quantities look pretty good so it should function okay as a fat burner.

Will it protect against muscle loss though? The formulation provides a testosterone booster and that should certainly help.

However, when it comes to boosting testosterone, chrysin is unlikely to be a lot of help. That means forskohlii is pretty much on its own.

When I was reading the customer reviews I never found any comments substantiating the claim that it protects muscle. Then again, I never found anything to suggest it does not and I’m not sure if I can believe the comments anyway.

Because I cannot rely on customer reviews, I can only look at the formulation. It seems likely that anyone using Vintage Burn alongside diet and exercise will be able to improve on their results.

When it comes to protecting the muscles, things are not so clear cut. It contains a testosterone booster and that should help. However, anyone who is seriously worried about losing muscle may be better off choosing an alternative product instead.
