Unlike many cleanse programs, our juices are hydraulically extracted through a First-Cold-Press-Process* and are made and delivered in a chilled environment. Founder, Chairman/Executive Director, Denise Mari holds the Vision and directs the expression of Organic Avenue’s LOVE*. She holds a Masters in Education and continues to pursue cutting edge health education (hydrotherapy, phlebotomy, live blood analysis, holistic health and living food lifestyle counseling). She is also pursuing a traditional Masters Degree in Human Nutrition at Bridgeport University. Denise founded Organic Avenue in 2000 when she combined her love for wholefoods, healing, ahimsa/ vegetarianism and entrepreneurship. Being inspired by the power of the Web and the implications that a LOVE*based lifestyle could benefit ALL by being made: convenient, accessible, affordable, delicious, nutritious and fun! She persisted at launching a home-based business that attracted a wide variety of dedicated clients and tested her hypothesis that her vision for a *Live, Organic, Vegan, Experience would be welcome in New York City.
From classes in food preparation, to community gatherings, to cleanse programs and health-promoting retreats she continues to reinvent and refine the offerings of Organic Avenue. Denise is currently working on her first book, For The LOVE* Of It! And is developing a LOVE*support education program to accompany the LOVE*cleanse programs. Denise is also passionate about developing The SOUL* (Space Of Unconditional LOVE*), Organic Avenue headquarters in the LES/NYC, transforming it into an event space and an herbal elxir bar . She is leading the Organic Avenue marketing initiatives and is refining the experience in the boutiques, call center, home delivery program(s) and product(s) selection.
Denise studies Vipassana meditation and Dharma Mittra yoga. She has travels extensively in search of truth, LOVE* and well-being. She lives in Brooklyn, New York with her son Oliver.

Born and raised in New York City, Doug is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader who began his first business, Computer Impressions, in 1987, and grew the company into one of the premier desktop publishing businesses in New York. He was co-creator of 12 core typefaces currently bundled in the Apple and Windows operating systems. He also ran a boutique counseling company that advised the CEO's of major companies including Avon Products, Adobe Systems and Columbia House. Most recently, Doug ran the New York office for AdBrite, while simultaneously increasing the revenue for the company nationally.
In 1999, Doug met Denise Mari, believed in her vision, and shared her passion for the live, organic, vegan experience. After losing his mother to cancer and his father to heart disease, he researched health and nutrition extensively and, since then for over a decade, he has been living exclusively on a raw, plant-based diet.
