Deanna Rae, the maker behind vegan food brand SimpleSense, says her interest in health and wellness goes way back to her childhood. This heartfelt passion led her to Queens College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Dietetics. She is also a certified holistic health coach who understands that a healthy lifestyle is easy to achieve through daily routine and thoughtful practice. It was from these core beliefs, plus a love of mixing up sweet treats in the kitchen, that SimpleSense was born.

SimpleSense is an artisan line of energy balls and cookies that are made from raw, vegan, and gluten-free ingredients with no yeast, refined sugar, preservatives, or fillers. Rae crafts all of her confections by hand and packages them in super cute containers that you can just toss in your bag and go. (Check out the tubes that hold her little bites!) Additionally, most ingredients -- from the raw cacao and hemp seeds in her Chocolate Chaga Bites to the almonds and dates in the Peanut Butter Cookies -- are organic and chosen for their rich nutritional benefits. They're so incredibly fresh and yummy -- sweet but not overwhelming, moist and chewy -- and taste like you made them yourself! Rae is also an animal lover, so she donates a portion of SimpleSense proceeds to the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary in upstate New York.
