Organic Avenue is paved with 'raw' gold
Organic Avenue is continuing its quest for New York City -- and then the world -- fresh juice dominance. Its new, bold business plan is to open a store a month in the city. It just signed a lease at 10 Fifth Ave. -- another 500-square-foot space, said CEO Doug Evans.
He added that they are also close to signing a 1500-square-foot space on the Upper East Side, its second space in that neighborhood.
The company promotes a raw, organic and vegan lifestyle and boasts celebrity clients like Gwyneth Paltrow.
"Fresh juice is replacing coffee. It is now chicer than cappucino," Evans said.
